CS junior focused on AI research and product development.
I’m drawn to complex problems that sit at the intersection of systems, data, and real-world use.

Data Engineering & Analysis
Built end-to-end data pipelines using Python, Pandas, SQL, and Azure Data Factory, with structured storage in Azure Cosmos DB and Blob Storage. Designed analytics-ready schemas and indexing strategies to support large-scale tabular datasets and fast retrieval.
AI & Machine Learning
Developed and evaluated models using PyTorch, scikit-learn, and NumPy, with experience in CNNs, evaluation pipelines, and performance benchmarking. Worked on real-time ML systems involving dynamic time warping, PID control, and adaptive inference for audio and vision tasks.
Cloud Computing
Deployed production systems on Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, Virtual Machines, and Cosmos DB. Implemented secure API integrations, indexing pipelines, and scalable backend services for AI-powered applications.
Project Management
Led multi-team technical projects using Agile workflows, Git/GitHub, and structured documentation. Coordinated cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI systems and large-scale events with clear ownership and milestones.

About Me

I'm Ranav Sethi
I am drawn to AI because it sits at the intersection of how things think, how they behave, and how we design systems around them. I’ve always been interested in psychology and problem-solving through programming, and machine learning felt like a way to explore both.
Much of my work has been hands-on. I’ve built and shipped an AI chatbot for Wabash National, worked on digital supply-chain projects at EY, and also studied alongside the AI for Musicians lab at Purdue, where I researched how intelligent systems can transform audio synchronization, timing, and human performance.
Along the way, I’ve also found myself in operations. I enjoy structure, logistics, and making complicated feel smooth. Currently, I'm working with Purdue's Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) program where I support over 70 teams. I’m also organizing StarkHacks with the Humanoid Robot Club — a hardware hackathon we hope to be the largest of its kind.
At the center of this all is curiosity — the urge to understand how systems come together and can be improved - and the hope that these solutions will matter to someone.
